Overview

We're excited to announce our latest release featuring the new 'Jobs' functionality - designed specifically for contractors working across multiple utilities or projects with different data requirements. This update brings significant workflow improvements alongside several map enhancements and bug fixes requested by our field users.

New Features

Jobs

Our new Jobs feature allows you to organize your work by specific utilities or projects, each with their own unique configurations:

• Organize by Project: Split data collection requirements into different job groups

• Custom Configurations: Assign specific data templates and workflows to each job

• Seamless Switching: Easily toggle between different jobs while maintaining your place in the workflow

This feature is particularly valuable for contractors managing multiple utility clients with varying requirements for pole, span, and attachment data collection.

Improvements

Enhanced Map Experience

• Persistent Selection: Map now remembers your selected poles or midspans when navigating away and back

• Position Memory: Automatically returns to your previous map position and zoom level

• Shareable Links: Copy and share direct links to specific map elements with team members

• Pole Inspection View: Added spans to the pole inspection view, providing a comprehensive top-down view of guy anchors, guy wires, and spans with angle measurement capabilities

Mobile App Enhancements

• Sync Lock Prevention: Phone will no longer auto-lock during data synchronization

• Automatic Update Notifications: App now checks for updates and prompts you when a newer version is available

Bug Fixes

• Fixed issue where the bottom drawer would occasionally disappear

• Resolved dark mode display problems that made editable fields difficult to read

• Corrected several map rendering issues affecting span distance display

Version 1.4.15

IOS

• App will send notifications when it is closed without all data and files being uploaded. Helping the user make sure they keep the app open while data syncs.

• Midspans - Place a midspan measurement anywhere in relation to the span, while having the option to snap the location along the line of the span.

• Bug fix - Satellite imagery was not saving for offline use, this is now fixed.

• Bug fix - Files sync more quickly when finishing a measuring workflow.

• Utility map - 'Search for anything' feature. Search for an address or any specific data within a pole to find what you are looking for on the utility ma

• Define required data that must be captured with each utility pole. Ie. specific photos, specific data points or selectable options at the pole

• Enhance data view when a pole is selected on the utility map

• Poles will only be colored as completed on the map when all required data fields have been completed.

• Enforced data requirements as selected by the user when adding attachments to a pole in the web viewer. ie meta data regarding attachments

IOS

• Added enforcement of required data for mark a pole complete. The requirements for each are defined in the web interface as described above.

• Pole will only show complete on the map when all required elements are captured.

• Add required fields when selecting attachment types

• Added dedicated “center on GPS” button to quickly center the map on the users location
